Meeting Minutes for February 13, 2024 Membership Meeting @ 7:00PM
Meeting Place: Everbreeze Resort

Call meeting to order
Roll Call: Dan, Jim, Robby, Amy, Julie, Dennis, Bob G, Laurie, Toby, Bob P. Absent: Dean, Tyler. Twenty-two
members in attendance.

Previous Minutes: December Membership Meeting Minutes. Motion to approve – Dennis Pommering, seconded by Jim Juran.

Treasurer’s Report December 2023/January 2024 Financial Report: Julie reviewed the January Financial report recapping the revenue from the Snow Fun Day event and our annual payment ($27,700) for the Holland T6 Groomer. Motion to approve – Diane Fitzpatrick, seconded by Laurie Asher.

Membership Secretary’s Report (Robby): The season wrapped up with 485 members. The 2024/2025 season passes will begin July 1, 2024. Motion to approve – Brian Fitzpatrick, seconded by Mike Bessert.

Administrative Secretary’s Report (Amy):

• Snow Fun Day – Overall, a great success! Thank you to everyone that donated, attended, and volunteered their time. Funds raised with help support the second payment of the Holland T6 groomer.

• Membership Event Calendar-Next Membership Meeting Saturday, March 9th at 11AM at Firelite Lounge
(Election Meeting)

• 2024 Brat Frys – Friday, July 12th and Saturday, August 17th. Mark your calendars and see you at Lakewood
SuperValu for these two summer fundraisers.

Trail Report: (Bob P.)

• Trail Status – Trails remain close and the swamps are still not frozen.

• Equipment and Resources-Tucker update – Bob received a verbal offer for the existing Tucker, yet nothing
in writing nor approved by the board yet.

• Bob P. is working on getting quotes for signs on the drags like many other clubs do. Also, Chute Pond
Snowmobile Club has been very helpful is sharing their experiences.

Motion to approve – Dave DeMille, seconded by Julie Pommering.

Old Business:

• Maps for 2024-2026: Local businesses have been notified, Brian Fitzpatrick and Dan Wollin coordinating.
New Business:

• Susan Bessert, Lisa Gleason, and Bev Bodart will be the new DNR Certified Snowmobile/ATV Safety Class
instructors with the first class being held May 11, 2024. Watch the DNR site and Facebook for sign-up.

• Annual Election for officer and OPEN board positions:

•  Open Officer Positions – President, Treasurer and Membership Secretary
•  Three Open Board Member Positions – Bob Goble, Dean Martin, Dennis Pommering
•  Toby Worden (board member) will oversee the election process with Bev and Rick Bodart representing the membership. Prior to the election on March 9, 2024, if anyone has an interest in running for the Board, please contact any of the following nomination committee members by February 22, 2024:

• HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that brought food to support the community via the Christian Food Pantry
in Lakewood.

• Thank you to Everbreeze Resort (Patty) for opening up for us and hosting the PBR Membership meeting!
