Meeting Minutes for Nov. 14, 2023 Membership Meeting @ 7:00PM
Meeting Place: Bailey’s Pour Haus
Call meeting to order: 7:03pm
Roll Call: Dan, Jim, Robby, Amy, Julie, Dennis, Bob G, Tyler, Laurie, Dean, Toby, Bob P. Thirty–six members were in
attendance.
Welcome new Club President: Dan Wollin is our new club president. Dan’s goal is to help wherever needed, make
good financial decisions, have fun, and be proud to be part of this club. He thanked Dennis Pommering for his
many years of leading the club and assisting him in the transition. Dennis remains on the board.
Previous Minutes: October Membership Meeting Minutes. Motion to approve – Patty Martin, seconded by Bob
Goble.
Treasurer’s Report October 2023 Financial Report – Julie reviewed the October Financial report. Motion to
approve – Jim Asher, seconded by Diane Fitzpatrick.
Membership Secretary’s Report (Robby) – We currently have 363 members with 125 being Gold Members (gave
more than $50 additional money with their membership), 42 business boosters, and 36 new members this year (24
of them in the past month!). Motion to approve – Julie Pommering, seconded by Tim Mauer.
Administrative Secretary’s Report (Amy):
• Poker Run Books are available at 35 local establishments
• Snow Fun Day update – Save the date: Saturday, January 27th, 2024. Amy is collecting items for Basket
Raffles with a goal of having 20–25 basket items. We have ten so far but we need more to make this event
a success. Please contact Amy at Paulbunyanriders@gmail.com if you can donate anything. Amy will
package items together to make a full basket. Thanks in advance!
• Key dates: Next Membership Meeting Tuesday, Dec. 5th (date change) at Mulligan’s Sports Bar. Annual
Christmas Party – MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Trail Report: (Bob P.) – The trail brushings over the past months have been very successful. The only trail that
needs help is the Wheeler Lake Trail, watch for a brushing day for that trail. The golf course area leading to the
Sand Trap Bar has been resolved and appropriate fencing will be in place to guide you to the trail. PLEASE stay on
the trail and follow the signs.
Old Business:
• The $100 PBR Raffle Ticket is available, over 50 sold, out of 225 – get one today before they run out!
• Update on $10 PBR Raffle Ticket – The PINK $10 tickets will be in your mailbox very soon. If you need
more, please contact us. These make great stocking stuffers/Christmas presents!
New Business:
• Update on trail access to Sand Trap Bar via the McCauslin Golf Course – resolved.
• Update on the culverts at Locators 675 & 677 – gravel and culverts prepped and ready to install.
• Gary Wagner (AWSC Representative) gave a detail recap of his involvement with the AWSC be it updates
with the Legislation, State wide events, Social Media, upcoming Spring Convention, etc.
• Reminder – If anyone needs something added to our website or Facebook (brushing days, $100 or $10
Raffle Tickets available, Snow Fun Day stuff, etc.), please contact Susan Bessert at bessertnow@yahoo.com
• Laurie Asher and Robby Juran have completed getting new styles of clothing available. Email was sent out
to the membership and actively taking orders!
• Potential Tucker upgrade discussion – good discussion about value of current orange 2012 Tucker and
potential purchase of a SureTrack groomer/brusher. Board will have a meeting to further review research
cost benefit analysis.
• Next Membership Meeting: Tuesday, December 5th, 7pm, at Mulligans
• Thank you to Bailey’s Pour Haus (Brian) for hosting the PBR Membership meeting and donating door prizes.
• Door Prize – Robby Juran and Kevin Clarksen won the door prizes.
• 50–50 Raffle – Brent Draheim won $105.
Motion to Adjourn at 7:55 was made by Diane Fitzpatrick, seconded by Tim Mauer.
