Paul Bunyan Riders Snowmobile Club

About Paul Bunyan Riders Snowmobile Club

The Paul Bunyan Riders Snowmobile Club began as a collaboration of local businesses in the late 1960s to attract winter visitors to the Lakewood area. Our first meeting was held in September 1969, and we proudly incorporated in November 1970. For over 50 years, we’ve been serving the community and are now over 500 members strong. We are a 100% AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs) member club.

We groom 79.1 miles of funded and 6.2 miles of unfunded trails using top-notch equipment, including two 2012 Tucker Terra Sno-Cats, a 2022 New Holland T6 Tractor with tracks, and a 2019 New Holland Power Star for brushing and trail work. Each grooming machine is equipped with a 10.6 ft. ultimate folding drag to help ensure our trails are among the best in Northern Oconto County.

The Paul Bunyan Riders are proud to support the community that supports us. Through our Giving Back Program, we consider donation requests from individuals, groups, or nonprofit organizations that serve our local area or promote the sport of snowmobiling. This program allows us to do more than ride—it helps us leave meaningful tracks in the community.

A heartfelt thank you to all our members, volunteers, and landowners. Your ongoing support makes our trail system possible. Without our dedicated volunteers and supportive landowners, there would be no trails.

Please check back often, both here or on Paul Bunyan Riders Facebook page , to get the latest updates on weather and trail conditions in the area.

Please remember to Ride Safe, and Ride Sober!
